    Samelinlakson taistelu käytiin Suomen sodassa 27. heinäkuuta 1808 Kauhajoen Samelinlaksossa. Samelinlakso sijaitsee nykyisen Kauhajoen keskustasta Päntäneen suuntaan. Samelinlakson taistelussa Ruotsin joukkoja johti majuri Carl von Otter ja Venäjän joukkoja Jagodin. Taistelu kesti pari tuntia, ja tuloksena oli, että venäläisjoukot ajettiin pois Kauhajoelta. Kauhajoen Heikkilänkylässä, Päntäneelle johtavan tien varressa on taistelun muistomerkki. Se on pystytetty vuonna 1938.
